Your task in groups will be to complete a practice knife throw and start to understand how the stunt prop special effect works. 

Example

Brief

First of all we will step by step look at how you create a knife throw special effect. The hand out is a guide of how many shots you should go out and film.

We will go through the rule of 180 degree and how the wipe pan is your savour!!

You will go out in groups of 3 and decide which roles each of you will take:

- Character A

- Character B (Victim)

- Camera operator 

You will need a camera and your plan of action. Decide on your location (do not film in a corridor) and make sure you gather the 4 shots your need:

- Character A throwing action into wipe pan.

- Wipe pan without character A their.

- Wipe pan into Character B (victim) with half knife prop out of shirt.

- Over the shoulder shot of character A.
